Dr. Erin Vaka was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland and received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Vaka went on to obtain her Master of Science in Cell & Molecular Biology from Tulane University, then returned to Ann Arbor to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Vaka moved back to the DMV to complete a General Practice Residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she gained extensive clinical experience in all dental disciplines.
Dr. Vaka loves connecting with patients of all ages. Her friendly and gentle approach creates a relaxed, comfortable environment that puts patients at ease. Dr. Vaka takes the time to listen to her patients’ needs and concerns, and is dedicated to providing quality comprehensive care. By prioritizing continuing education, she stays current with the latest technology and techniques for creating healthy smiles.
Outside the office, Dr. Vaka enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, cheering for the Michigan Wolverines on game days, and exploring all the DMV area has to offer.
